St. Louis has no shortage of activities. You can eat delicious Italian food on The Hill and stroll through the 1,300+ acres of Forest Park. Not to forget, you can take in a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium and tour the Arch. Many have taken advantage of St. Louis and the sights of the city. Known as the "Gateway To The West," St. Louis is centrally located. Making it the perfect stepping off (or riding off) point for your next destination. Take advantage of your next free weekend and take an epic road trip!
We recommend traveling to Chicago, Illinois! Located roughly 300 miles from St. Louis, you can make your trip (without stops) in approximately 5 hours. After you've explored all St. Louis has to offer, make a stop at Gateway Harley-Davidson, at 3600 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125. Come in and check out some of the new bikes that are arriving, and shoot the wind with the staff. We love Harley-Davidson's as much as you do.
Start your ride by taking a right onto Lemay Ferry Rd. There is a QuickTrip just a few blocks up the road where you can fuel up and grab a snack before your ride.
Then continue on Lemay Ferry Rd until you reach Reavis Barracks Rd and take a left. Then after about 1.5 miles, take a right and merge onto I-55 N. Now sit back and relax; you will stay on I-55 N until you hit the "Windy City!"
